The experience includes a guided tour inside the company; You can experience first-hand the  transformation processes from the raw material  to the finished product and transformed for marketing, thus going through all the stages of preservation, up  to the tasting of the different products with particular reference to the key element of the territory: the chestnut.

The show cooking,  with the farm’s products,  allows you to  savor the delights of the territory, trying your hand atpreparing typical dishes of the Calabrian tradition. Thanks to our exclusive Cooking Class you can learn about all the local culinary secrets handed down from generation to generation.

Cicala is a small village in the Catanzaro area, located at the foot of the Sila Piccola, since the sixties of the last century this small mountain town has specialized in the marketing of chestnuts.

Through experience, professionalism and passion for work and for its land, Cicala has become  one of the major Calabrian companies for the processing and preservation of fruit and vegetable products  that the territory offers in a rich, genuine and healthy way, as well as one of the major Calabrian centers for the processing and marketing of Calabrian chestnuts and agri-food products.

The activity is carried out in collaboration with the Muraca Agri-food Company, which over the  years has managed to improve the quality of food processing, becoming a point of reference on national and international markets and bringing the good taste of Calabrian flavors to tables all over the world.
