Roccatederighi (Grosseto) hosts a three-day Medieval Festival during which the narrow streets and squares of the historic center of the town are catapulted into the past, between history, culture and popular traditions.
The guides on this trip will be dozens of figures in period costumes: jesters, jugglers, street artists and tavern keepers.
You will be able to admire ancient crafts, ancient games and artists of the time. It will be possible to taste medieval recipes and ancient drinks.

The program (first days of August)
• Friday at 6 p.m., opening of the medieval doors and start of shows in the historic center
• Saturday at 5 p.m., the historical group of Roccatederighi presents “The Witches’ Stake” – 1st part The Capture followed by falconry show with Gherardo Brami falconarius and shows until late at night
• Sunday at 5 p.m., the historical group of Roccatederighi presents “The Burning of the Witches” – Part 2 The Trial followed by the presentation of the Palio and shows until late at night. 11.30 p.m. execution of the sentence and grand finale
