How to get there
To get to Tropea by train you will have to rely on both the Trenitalia line and a local train line. By car there are two alternatives: for those coming from the North you will have to take the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway and exit at Pizzo Calabro and take the State Road to Tropea – Capo Vaticano. Alternatively, you can take the S. Onofrio – Vibo Valentia exit and also from here follow the signs for Tropea. Those coming from the South will still have to take the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria taking the exit for Rosarno, then continue to Nicotera, Joppolo, Coccorino, Ricadi, Capo Vaticano. Alternatively, it is possible to follow the S.S. 18 to Tropea and then along the provinces of Monte Poro, at the Zungri junction follow the signs for Ricardi, Capo Vaticano and finally Tropea. Don't worry, there are many indications.
